Susannah Bourke (she/her)

Susannah has been the Digital Archivist at State Library Victoria since 2023, where she works to care for born-digital cultural heritage. Her first visit to the Library in 2015, was to consult a rare coronial inquest from the 1990s as a part of creative repair project Object Therapy (2016). Her background in craft, repair, and art practice inform her work, which requires broad technical knowledge of abandoned digital technologies and patience for debugging. The Digital Lab has provided a community and space to develop technical skills and connections between digital tools and people.
