Matt Hermans

Matt has over two decades of experience working in VFX. He is the founder of the Electric Lens Company. The Electric Lens Company is a boutique studio producing end to end projects using strengths in creative technology, motion capture and machine learning as core to our virtual production workflow. From scanning environments, volumetric capture and simulation, Electric Lens created virtual human pipelines for high end pre-rendered, real-time, holographic and AR spaces. Famously, the studio worked with Harry Shearer from The Simpsons, Carl Cox, Whitney Houston, and Ryuichi Sakamoto. The studio's other work includes VFX and Virtual production projects with Intel, BUCK+Verizon, “Dr Who” and a holographic work at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Electric Lens Co. is extremely excited by collaborations with creatives world-wide, and by bringing our visual effects workflows to new technological platforms and devices.
